A Bit About The Role

An individual contributor as well as a team member, reporting to the Director of Inside Sales, Americas. The Inside Sales Specialist - Americas will have responsibility for a wide range of activities aimed at driving new sales and achieving targets in support of the Strategic and Regional Business Solutions teams in North America. 

 

  • Pro-active reach out to new prospects and existing accounts via all channels (phone, email, online collaboration, etc)
  • Promote Imagine Communications brand and product awareness through dedicated inside sales campaigns and associated efforts.
  • Connect customers business needs with Imagine Communications solutions.
  • Engage and collaborate closely with the Imagine Business Solutions teams to drive the sales cycle from conception through successful opportunity closure – including end customer needs assessment, opportunity/quote creation and revision, forecasting, PO acceptance, and post-sales follow-through to ensure total customer satisfaction.
  • Accurate, proactive, daily data input for managing the real-time Sales opportunity database, reporting, and management via CRM (Salesforce) and other tools.
  • Actively support and/or lead the Bid Management efforts in response to formal Requests for Proposal and related activities.
  • Develop and maintain rapport with key Channel Partners and End Customers to become a trusted resource as a secondary point of contact.
  • Work cooperatively with all functional departments internally including Legal, Finance, Professional Services, Product Management, Solutions Engineering, IT, etc.
  • Develop an understanding and stay attune to business drivers and trends within the broadcast industry and across the broadcast segment.
  • Capture and relay all customer feedback, competitive trends, and other relevant information from the field to the Sales team as appropriate.
  • Follow the in-house sales business rules, practices, and policies.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree and/or relevant job experience in Finance, Business, Marketing, or Communications preferred.
  • Training and course work in strategic selling concepts desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills with desire to build a career in Sales.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate through all mediums (verbal, listening, written)
  • Aptitude for continuous development of sales skills and product knowledge
  • Highly organized, with effective time management skills
  • Ability to work independently.
