  • Company Overview

    The Director of Sales will be responsible for managing sales for China mainland and working hand-in-hand with the service team to hit the revenue target. This leader will also oversee events & channel management in China Mainland with the support of marketing and channel team, and key localized sales marketing activities targeted at increasing the company's brand presence and driving sales. The Director of Sales is based in Beijing.

    Specific duties include but are not limited to

    Responsibilities

    • Define key sales & marketing strategies for China Mainland, budgets required to deliver, and drive successful execution to achieve results
    • Manage revenue, sales targets, forecasting activity through sales management processes to achieve team goals
    • Manage Chanel Development and Management, Marketing and Customer Support with the help of channel and marketing team
    • Locate potential business deals by contacting potential customers and discovering and exploring opportunities
    • Maintain regular communication cadence with the global/regional sales organization to communicate best practices and share learning

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 10+ years of experience in sales, sales management in broadcast industry, profound knowledge of the market and excellent connections to the key stake holders on both channel and end user sides.
    • Wealthy sales experiences in mature market and dynamic competition environments, a hunter rather than farmer who can drive the the business growth and change
    • Must have “Can do” attitude, willingness to go above and beyond to support the team and get things done by exhausting all possible routes both internally and externally
    • Highly collaborative and great with people; will be a good listener and create relationships quickly with colleagues and partners in the business
    • Experience managing teams and producing exceptional results and communication skills
    • A willingness to travel and spend sufficient time on the road to understand the business and regularly interact with teammates in China Mainland
    • Comfortable using marketing automation platforms and CRM - Salesforce experience highly desirable
    • College degree; MBA preferred
