    The xG GamePlan team are looking for their first full time QA to set the testing standards and help the team achieve them. We currently have no formal manual or automation testing so your expertise will be invaluable to us.


    You will be instrumental in:


    • Setting the testing standards.
    • Working with the developers on how we will test the stories.
    • Testing the stories and making sure the stories meet the definition of done and acceptance criteria.As a QA you will be an integral part of the Scrum team and play an import role with backlog refinement and estimation.    


    • The xG GamePlan product is built for the web and hosted in the cloud. We are looking for a QA with a proven track record of working in a similar environment.
    • If you see the QA role as separate to the development team, this isn't the role for you!
    • Long term we believe in automated testing but initially the role will involve a lot of manual testing until we can build up our automation expertise with your guidance
    • Strong understanding of QA processes and methodologies in a software development environment.
    • Experience of performing manual software testing activities using established testing concepts and tools


    • Load/Performance testing
    • Experience at writing automated scripts




    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Excellent writing, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Strong planning and organisational skills, including ability to deal with conflicting priorities and meet deadlines
    • Ability to be flexible and to adapt to change.
    • Eager to learn new skills and acquire knowledge.
