    We are looking for Solution Architects to work closely with our Account, Product and Bid management teams to creatively match agreed customer requirements with Imagine Communications solutions. The Solution Architect is a senior level designation and is expected to professionally and accurately present technical presentations across the full array of buyers, from system engineering up to and including the CTO.

    Specific duties include but are not limited to

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Design of a technical solution that meets agreed customer requirements with documented use cases, ensuring any limitations of scope or functionality are documented and understood by customers and stakeholders
    2. Ensure that the technical solution proposed is feasible within the constraints (time and budget) can be implemented with current functionality, or for functionality that is yet to be delivered, the requirements are well scoped and agreed with customer and stakeholders.
    3. Brief internal stakeholders (Product, Sales and Professional Services) on the proposed solution
    4. Participate in customer meetings, presentations, demonstrations and workshops to comprehend and document solution requirements
    5. Own the delivery of an agreed Statement of Works (SoW), system drawings and written descriptions including technical specifications for custom development and systems integration requirements. Assist with documenting both Imagine and third-party equipment BOMs and quotations
    6. Foster and maintain strong technical relationships with key stakeholders across all business units
    7. Interface between Product Line Management and Customer to communicate requirements, negotiate deliverables, as well as a feedback loop for ‘lessons learned’ in real world experience.
    8. Travel as needed (up to 50%)

    Qualifications

    Key Requirements:

      1. 7+ year’s experience in the video broadcast, compression, contribution or distribution markets.
      2. Strong knowledge of live and file-based video workflows, video distribution methodologies (incl IPTV and OTT, compression and streaming video technologies) plus a general understanding of television standards
      3. Working knowledge of IP routing/switching protocols and architectures, on-premise, virtualized and cloud-based IT solutions and architectures, and storage protocols and technologies.
      4. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills particularly in technical documentation - fluency with English is required
      5. Software development experience coupled with knowledge of IT infrastructure, web services, API’s.
      6. Demonstrated ability to manage projects and perform as part of project teams.
      7. Ability to lead in a self-directed manner in a geographically diverse environment.
      8. Detail-oriented approach with strong customer service orientation.
      9. Proven capability to solve problems and think analytically.
      10. Bachelor’s degree in related field
