Specific duties include but are not limited to

The Product Line Order Management has the responsibility to manage orders on a daily

basis. They are the key link in communication with our customers for order/inventory questions. The

individual works closely with our Vendors, factories, Planning and forecasting, hubs and various shipping departments internally or externally to ensure that every order is processed and delivered on time with highest quality.

A strong business acumen, basic accounting skills and the ability to reason through ever changing

scenarios are necessities for this position. Taking the initiative, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to

anticipate problems before they happen are also essential for success in this position. The candidate

must work well with a team of people who are committed to continuing the company's high growth

rate.

 

 

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Review of Purchase orders/ signed quote to verify need for substitutions due to EOL, reduction of inventory, consolidation points, need for configuration module input, etc
  • Responsible for fulfilment of a defined “Product Family” Worldwide
  • Act as OM Technical lead for a specific family of products to support supply chain, vendors and customers
  • Work with supply chain, vendors and factories to obtain best lead time possible for all demands
  • Communicating daily with internal and external customers
  • Providing status updates and lead time quotes
  • Providing shipping and logistics details and support
  • Providing build plans to factories when required
  • Providing guidance based on info on hand on allocation of material and priority setting
  • Prepare weekly updates on current order backlog
  • Responsible for correct and on time billings
  • interact with teams responsible for installation/implementation to ensure client expectations are met.
  • act as a liaison with sales or customer service regarding ship dates or inventory levels.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education
  • Working in a previous Order fulfilment /product management
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Flexible hours, Some Overtime Required
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, performance based environment
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Detail-orientation and good analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate at different levels
  • Good problem-solving as well as organizational skills
  • Ability to both work effectively in a team and independently
  • High customer service orientation
  • time management skills
