Specific duties include but are not limited to

The Graphic Designer position is responsible for creative implementation supporting internal clients in regional and product marketing. This position works on a variety of products and activities, such as websites, advertising, collateral, posters, trade show exhibitions, and other corporate communications. For these projects, the graphic designer works with the client, creative director or project manager to develop ideas and concepts. The work demands creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time, detail, approval process and deadlines.

 

Main job duties include but are not limited to

  • Maintaining existing artwork and photography assets
  • Working with clients or with a 3rd party contractor on project development
  • Designing collateral documentation via templates
  • Designing special logos within brand specifications
  • Designing and resizing digital/print advertisement
  • Creating HTML email communications via templates or within our email marketing system
  • Providing general design support for global tradeshows, regional events and sales campaign as need

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years demonstrated experience with graphic design projects such as building collateral, designing logos and marketing campaigns, photography editing, email marketing, basic HTML
  • 3+ years demonstrated experience with the following design software programs: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver, etc.
  • Intermediate skills in all Microsoft office products with solid skills using spreadsheets and PowerPoint
  • Capacity to understand creative/graphic trends and recommend visual and design direction
  • Portfolio showcasing execution of concepts and creative solutions in video and graphic design examples

  • Ability to identify, organize and manage resources and information including 3rd party collaborators
  • Creative, innovative and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize projects across multiple events, meeting time and budget deadlines consistently
  • Self-motivated, proactive, capable of working independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior negotiation skills
  • Strong work ethic and attitude
  • Collaborative, high energy, ability to learn and to work in a fast paced environment and remain flexible and energetic
  • Ability to travel and work outside of normal business hours due to conference schedules; travel should be limited but could be up to 10%
  • Ability to recognize problems and take appropriate actions towards a solutions and raise to the appropriate level
